Sometimes I wish it was easy to evade sleep. Why should it be necessary? While people say it's important to function the next day, I say it's quite the opposite. Because when I sleep, I dream. And not the fun dreams where everything is happy or even the weird embarrassing dreams where you're naked in front of your Transfiguration class. No, my dreams are nightmares. I'm sure everyone has them, everyone who was there at the battle. How could you not? I didn't even lose anyone close to me, yet I still see everyone's faces from that day. Professor Lupin and the one Weasley twin...the fight between Mrs. Weasley and that Lestrange woman. While that one was not a sad loss, I still remember seeing her fly back, only to land on the floor dead.
Why do people die with their eyes open? And why am I thinking of such things so close to bed?
Right, I should be thinking of positive things. Like puppies and rainbows and butterflies...except those just keep turning into faces and those faces turn into screams and those screams turn into that horrible smell of spells and death.

How can you cure insomnia? I'm hoping for a way that doesn't involve potions or pills. |
